It's only $20/month more than Verizon 5G Home, but you get symmetrical UP/DL with low latency/jitter/packet loss on a consistent basis. Whether you go with Verizon or AT&T, leave Xfinity if you can. Honestly, RCN when it first came out was amazing, gig internet for like 50 a month. It slowly crept up in price and after the merger we constantly had issues with our internet dropping. We stuck with RCN for a few years due to my Hatred of Comcast. Now surprisingly Comcast has actually been pretty good. Really no downtime or outages to speak of ...I had Comcast before. Comcast was fine but the gigabit fiber is way more consistent. If I had a choice I’d go fiber over cable anytime. AT&T may own the lines but the support on the backend is the most important part. Xfinity Mobile is a Verizon MVNO and resells their service, so they are much lower on the totem pole when it comes to network congestion. With mobile service, you get what you pay for.
