HPFP being second for the 1st gen BMW engines. The TU HPFP are better. The tune obviously makes a big difference, and octane in the fuel is a large factor as well. (cold start is just supposed to head up the catalytic filter in the downpipe, so that’s why it’s commonly removed after catless downpipe installation.)e. The Stage2 tune tells the turbo to spin faster to a point where that stock back pressure can damage the turbo. A catless downpipe has emissions issues depending on your state's requirements.
